How to Make Writing Easier

We all want to make writing easier.

Why is writing so hard? Why does what you want to write become so difficult to do the moment you sit down to write? Where are the words you need to convey the excitement or the dread or the anticipation of your experience? You are shocked to realize that what appears on the computer screen has no pizzazz! This is not what you had in mind when you thought of writing your memoir. So…we all want to make writing easier.

What to do to bring passion into you story and make writing easier?

You want to write with passion, but so many things get in the way. You work all day, and by evening you are tired. Writing seems like such a struggle. Where do you start and how do you keep going? So many things bog you down: There’s the family or perhaps that experience is behind you and you do have all time you need—but you know how it is, you’re not a writer.

When you conceived of your story, it was full of energy. When you think of your story, it still is full of energy. Perhaps it makes you laugh or cry. Perhaps you get angry thinking of what happened. Feelings move through you with strength and charge. But, when you sit down to write, the writing becomes heavy and dispirited. The words are dull and lack the luster of your memories. Why is it so hard! How can you make writing easier?

Is there a way to connect to your stories and record them with the passion you feel when you are away from the writing table?

I believe there is. Writing is an art and a craft and you can become more adept at both. In the process of developing both your art and your craft, you will find yourself becoming more enthused about what you are doing.
